Reaching Out by Neon-Monkey
Today's Critique brought to you by: Neon-Monkey
Scores
Overall: 3.5/5
Composition: 3.5/5
Emotion: 4/5
Overall:
I like the contrast and the composition. Good depth of field. There are a few distractions, though.
Composition:
The flowers contrast quite well with the greens and greys of the rest of the photo. The flower in the very bottom of the left corner is somewhat distracting, as is the stripe of grey.
Emotion:
This photo reminds me of summertime. It's very vibrant and has good lighting.
About deviant:
Chris has been taking photos for about 10 years, but it's only in the last two years that he's been thinking about what he shoots. His favorite kind of photos are macro shots. He also likes "the idea that one can go down and watch what the 'bugs' can see." Chris collects pictures of graffiti, stating that it can often be very challenging just to get the whole piece in the photo.
Tip of The Day:
If you run out of inspiration for photographers, take a break and do something fun. For example, go epically own someone at Mario.
