Lavender 1 by Kiss
Today's Critique brought to you by: Kiss
Scores
Overall: 3/5
Composition: 3/5
Emotion: 3/5
Overall:
I like the color and the concept. The execution is a little off.
Composition:
Good use of the rule of thirds. The purple contrasts nicely with everything else in the photo. I think I'd like it better if the depth of field were wider, and the white stuff in the back ground is distracting, as is the bright green thing in the center of the background. The photo is noisy, too, so you should probably consider lowering your ISO next time. The focus itself is kind of nice.
Emotion:
This photo reminds me of springtime, and the beauty of life as it pushes through the snow to blossom.
About Kiss:
Li has been using a pocket camera for a few years, but she finally got her first "serious" camera this month. She like's up-close nature shots, such as plants, flowers and bugs, just to name a few. Her gallery is filled with a variety of artistic mediums.
Tip of The Day:
On a sunny Day, your ISO should probably be around 400 when you're outside.
